Ryan + Lindsey

Ryan & Lindsey,

I remember Lindsey contacting me a couple of months ago asking if I was free to shoot this wedding, typically brides book about a year in advance so this was such an awesome surprise to me! I remember being so excited because I have previously worked alongside Lindsey before as she was a bridesmaid so this was fantastic to be able to shoot this wedding for them!

This was such an amazing venue to work at, At River's Edge is owned by a retired couple who simply decided to host some weddings every summer because they believed their back yard was nice, they were right! This was such an awesome venue with amazing hospitality. I hope I get the chance to shoot here some more. 

Ryan and Lindsey were so excited to get married which made every image I captured beyond genuine, there was so much fun in the air, I can't remember working with such AWESOME groomsmen and bridesmaids, they made it easy to get what images I wanted and they made it fun for me as I made it fun for them. 

My wife Kara was assisting me with the portraits that day and as I was taking these shots of Ryan & Lindsey I was thinking "Holy cow these look like we are in North Carolina" which I loved because Kara and I love North Carolina (One Tree Hill don't judge) but I loved how the light passed their backs and made gorgeous romantic lighting, mhmm me likey! 

Not only was this a special day because I got to be a part of a couple's most precious days of their lives, but it was a reunion with my first couple to ever shoot a wedding for. Lindsey was a bridesmaid for a couple Chad & Elise. Now four summer's later here we are, it was awesome to see Chad & Elise because they trusted me and gave me my first experience, it was such an awesome experience because it pushed me harder to shoot more Weddings, and now I have arrived here for Ryan & Lindsey, so crazy awesome!! 

So, cheers to Ryan & Lindsey! May Utah be everything you have ever wanted!! Crush it!
