Benji + Paige

Oh Benji & Paige, I met ole Benji when we made latte's for people, and any time Paige's would come by I'd try to sneak her free drinks! I remember Benji would talk up a storm about Paige constantly! the first time I met her, I felt like I already knew her! 

When they announced their engagement, I didn't even ask if they were interested in having me shoot their session, I more of just implied it! I said, "Benji, I'm doing your engagement and that's final!" Haha I'm so glad I got to do this for them! It's something really special shooting engagements, but shooting them for past friends is even better (I can't lie) because I already know their story, and I'm the artist that gets to tell it! 

During our shoot, I knew exactly where I was going, and the style I wanted to give to them! Engagements are the time to tell the story of them as a couple, so I thought it was suiting having Benji with the guitar (might I add Benji is a loo boo and forgot his acoustic, so that's mine) because he's a music nut! My personal favorite just might have to be the one with Benji's fingers over Paige's, before this shot I asked her if she knew how to play a B Minor, she said "No", naturally this was perfect because I told Benji to help her out, and wha-laa, I created something genuine and real, which is what it's all about!
