MATT + DANIELLE

Let's start off with a little bio... If you don't know this about me, I am a sarcastic nut case! Bless my wife's soul for putting up with me, anyway...

Danielle is one of the most sarcastic ladies to have ever crossed my path. I am completely delighted to have her in my life, finally someone that just gets me! Matt on the other hand is just a cool stinking human being! Matt does a lot of wood work, which Kara and I obviously love because we love crafts and wood revamping, so it was cool to talk to him throughout the shoot.

I met Danielle a couple years ago when she transferred to the Starbucks I was working at, from there a friendship spawned like rose pedals in the spring time, well that was a swell simile. So it was great to shoot for her and her righteous wood working cool faced fiancé! During the shoot I took them to a place I generally love going to for engagement sesh's, but this was the first time I have shot there in the winter, so I was siked to see what was in store for me. This place is actually a boat launch area, so the lake had no water in it so we ventured into the lake where it was awesome because it gave a completely different vibe to the same location I usually shoot at, I just digged the vibe (I know digged isn't a word don't judge me). 

I'll leave you with a funny story... It had recently snowed right before our shoot so there were snow plows doing work, but while we were shooting I wanted to drive to the specific spot so we didn't have to walk through the snow. so we got in my Mazda, drove thirty seconds(literally) down the street and parked where there was a sign that specifically said no parking. I figured no big deal I will only be here twenty minutes, well as we were shooting I see a snow plow coming through the road and I thought "it's fine it'll go around me", nope. The snow plow got right up to my car and started honking at me, so I halted our shoot and ran, which was more like lunges through the snow, all while this girl in the snow plow was obviously thinking I am a douche for parking where it says no parking, anyway that was awkward.
